From Ford Racing....
Today marked the first day of a three-day test session for NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams at Daytona International Speedway in preparation for next month’s Daytona 250 season-opener. Travis Kvapil, the 2003 truck series champion, is set to compete in the No. 6 Roush Racing Ford that was driven to victory lane a series-high six times in 2006. Kvapil, driving the defending race-winning Ford F-150, posted the fastest time in the morning session in the truck, while his Roush Racing teammates rounded out the top three. Rookie Peter Shepherd was the second quickest driver, while Erik Darnell, the 2006 Raybestos Rookie of the Year, was the third fastest driver. Kvapil and Darnell took part in an afternoon press conference discussing upcoming season.

What on earth are you talking about? Pete earned where he is today! Did you even watch the Gong Show?
kenny, thanks for posting. However, I can't imagine you know what Pete's family, friends and teams sacrificed to give him the opportunity to do what he's doing... or you wouldn't post something like that.
I have nothing against people who are rich and give their kids every opportunity... but this isn't one of them.
Thanks again for posting. Good weekend everyone.
Greg.
Greg,
It's really too bad that you have to make comments to those individuals like Kenny Wonka(probably his real name too) as most racing people know here in Southern Ontario, the Sheppard's/Zardo's are like most of us living from week to week, month to month. Petey is were he is today because of a lot of sweat and effort of many, especially himself. Sounds like some jealousy on Wonka's part. Good luck Petey, do us proud.
Wait a go Petey!
