(Based on his performance the past few days, it would be a surprise if Petey hasn't earned himself a ride for the Daytona opener. It's so nice to see someone make the most of their opportunity. --- Greg.)

Shepherd to drive full season: During post-testing coverage, SPEED/TV reported that Canadian driver, Peter Shepherd will drive the #50 Roush Racing Ford for the full 2007 Truck Series season.(Speed/TV)(1-13-2007)
I hadn't seen that... thanks for posting the news!! Good for Petey!
I am glad theres hope for people that could Never make it in Late Model
I'm with you all the way Kenny, poor Petey, can't make it in a Late Model, so he is forced to drive for some no name team (Roush Racing), in some no name series (Nascar Trucks). Heck, they don't even go very fast, what, only a little over 180 mph, on one of the most famous tracks in the world!! Ya, you sure put him in his place!!
Your constant posts on pretty much every message board saying the same thing certainly rubbed their noses in it!! Keep up the good work!

Hey Kenny,
That comment is so typically....I hate to say it....Canadian.
And people like you are the reason we don't have 10 guys on the grid at Daytona this year...keep up the good work.
So what is it Kenny? Do you think that YOU would be just as good if you had the same break? Dream on. I reckon Jack Roush knows a bit more about spotting young talent than you do. He reckons young Pete's got the goods. Old Rookie got it right: whenever a Canadian does well at something there's always some bitter, jeolous never-was trying to pull 'em down.
Go getem, Petey.
I've been following Petey since he was 13 at Flamboro and he's still doing an awesome job!
Go get them Petey! We're all proud of you up here!
