The Waterloo Regional Kart Club (WRKC) organizers of the Oktoberfest Grandprix are pleased to announce that Castrol Racing will be the title sponsor for this year’s race.
This marks the 29th annual running of what is the arguably the largest 4 stroke kart racing event in Canada. The familiar red-white-and-green of the Castrol Racing logo has been supporting racing in Canada for more than 100 years, we look forward to working with them to make this year’s race the best single day kart race in Canada.
This year’s race will be held on Saturday October 8th at Flamboro Speedway, with a practice session being held on the 7th starting at 3 pm. The race day will feature the following classes: Cadet, Novice, Jr. Lite, Jr. Heavy, Sr. Lite, Sr. Heavy, and Masters. The racing will be conducted based on the WRKC 2011 Rule Book. With Exciting prizes and trophies available to the top 5 in each class this is a race you don’t want to miss.
