BOURQUE HEADED FOR BARRIE IN AARON’S DREAM MACHINE

Ottawa, ON. (September 6, 2011) NASCAR driver Pierre Bourque returns to action in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series piloting the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge this coming weekend at Barrie Speedway, a tricky 1/3 bullring track that will provide non-stop excitement for 300 laps of racing under the lights on Saturday September 10th.

This will be the first visit to Barrie Speedway for Bourque in the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge and he is excited about the opportunity to compete at this challenging short track. “Being a one third mile oval it’s obviously a very tight track” explained Bourque. “And with the banking it’s also a very fast track for the size and presents a real test to the driver’s skills” he added.

Bourque has shown plenty of racing speed in the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge during previous events this year and is happy to be returning to action this weekend. “We had some very positive runs out west on the ovals and ran up front for a lot of laps” said Bourque. “We also had a good handling car at those races and that will also be important at Barrie” he stated.

All signs point to a thrilling weekend for the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Dodge team. “We’ll be racing in front of some of the most knowledgeable race fans, the car we’ve had this year from DJK Racing is stronger than ever and DJ’s done very well at Barrie so I know we’ll have a good set up on the car and I’m expecting we’ll be strong right from the start” said Bourque.

Action for Pierre Bourque and the #00 Aaron’s Dream Machine team at Barrie Speedway begins Saturday with practice at 1:30PM. Qualifying will be at 5:45PM and the green flag for 300 laps of racing for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series teams waves at 8PM.
