THOROLD, Ontario (July 7) – If you love trucks – you will love Merrittville Speedway July 9th! Modern Corporation’s Annual Truck Show ‘N Shine Night at the Thorold DIRTcar sanctioned oval will fill the grandstand area with trucks of all kinds before they take to the track for the annual Show and Shine Competition that is voted on by the fans.
You’ve got to have a favorite make or model or maybe it’s the paint and the chrome … or just a cool horn!
“It always makes for an awesome night,” relates (Merrittville GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “you’ll see some of the finest looking trucks around … you’ve got to salute them - the trucks work during the week in some of the worst conditions … but they take pride in their trucks to keep them looking so good … especially when they come to the track.”
Modern Corporation’s Night will also find Entry forms for the Monday August 1st Big Block Grand Marshall Search available once again when you purchase your grandstand tickets.
