NASCAR Canadian Tire Series: Reaction
I will post some of the quotes and reactions as I transcribe and receive them.
Here is one from Canadian web entrepreneur / stock car racer Pierre Bourque, who is Canada's lone full-time NASCAR driver in 2006. The Ottawa, ON resident, known for his Bourque Newswatch site, passed along these comments:
“This is absolutely fantastic news for Canadian stock car fans. NASCAR is the 800 lb. gorilla in North American motorsports. I've been working with NASCAR's Richard Buck and Ian Charlton (NASCAR Canada), among others, all season long. They are first-class and have been extremely helpful and encouraging to me all season long.
“I have little doubt that current CASCAR competitors and those Canadians who aspire to compete in professional stock car racing will be extremely impressed with NASCAR in 2007 !
“One last thought. Nascar is all about the fan, it is totally fan-centric. And that augers extremely well for Canadian race car buffs !”
In 2007, Pierre Bourque will be participating in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series with Whitlock Motorsports.

I STRONGLY object to a Conservative Party or any other sponser to place politics into sports!!! Nascar Can have really messed up.
I do not care whos name or company is on the car I liked to see them race thats all
